The project “KULT 2009” is an exchange of “art mind, soul, thinking in the most open-minded way”. It will involve artists (music gropus) from Balkan countries and Slovenia as a hosting country. It will last for 7 days (including days of arrival and departure). And it will be realised during May 2009 with main theme: EU societies and cultural diversity. At the beginning of the project, every single of participating artist will be joined in the group of 4-5 people from different cultural background. The “multicultural groups” will choose the role of important national ambassador (for example: cultural ambassador political ambassador, etc.). During all exchange they will have to solve five major tasks, which will be connected with actual problematic in EU (for example: Culture Shock & The Problem Of Adjustment To New Cultural Environments, Intercultural communication (language as a barrier, cultural diversity and ethnocentrism), Art as a common dialogue among various cultures, Understanding the needs and cultural references of the “new inhabitants” by the “old ones” and vice versa could limit the effect of some factors leading to xenophobia, violence in the form of social discrimination due to different cultural references which can be transformed to violence in the form of criminality. These tasks will be part of the project, where the participants will take the role of ambassador, they choose and try to think and act as these ambassadors in a way to solve the task in te best matter or all EU citizens. After their roles will be determined and before first task, they will have an opportunity to get through discussion and with information materials about EU policy. At the end of the fifth day of the project, after the last task will be solved, participants will prepare presentation of their project.
The exchange will include units of empirical learning where, for example the detection of fear towards the “Stranger” and the “Foreigner” will be supplemented by the empirical approach to the values and important matters to every day life which probably connect cultures. It will be expressed through artist who should be opened against other cultures.
During all stay, they will live together in a big tent or near-bye hotels. And during their “free time” they will perform music. Other also involved will perform literature, theater, music performances, body art, exhibitions etc. - to express their culture through different performances with same goal: raising understanding and tolerance beetween cultures.
The project aims at the connection of all the points of view of this multifactor social problem and their transformation into a unified functional sum, emphasizing on the problems of the national community.
The INTER-CULTURE project aims at offering a modern tool expressed through art to face problems and enhance the co-existence of different cultures in the same community (immigrants, refuges, minorities, etc.), based on interdisciplinary approach and responding to real social needs.
The expected result of such an approach is that tolerance and understanding of the different, will be strengthened in the conscience of citizens, so, then, they can proceed, exchanging and cooperating in order to develop in common their community.
Whole project will be documented with photo and video camera and with sound recording devices. So, after the the seven days, we (organizers) will prepare DVD and the wepage about the EU works camp, its activities and results. Both,the DVD and the webpage will be available to all participants of tje project, so after the actual project perido, they will multiply the results of the exchange among artists in their communities.

Trenchtown festival 2008
1-2-3 Maj - Etno kamp, Palić
Velika mi je čast da u ova teška vremena najavim bar malo pozitive...Trenchtown "line up" se polako popunjava, a ono što za sigurno možemo reći je da nas očekuje stari dobri Trenchtown na Etno kampu sa brdo dobre muzike, krejzi nastupa i pre svega najopuštenijom atmosferom na planeti Zemlji tokom 1.2. i 3. Maja. Pripremamo mnoštvo zanimljivih i atraktivnih dešavanja preko dana (pozorišta, net1zen radio...). Očekuje nas i posebna scena sa istočnjačkim fazonima - nargile, čajevi, ćilimi...
Reggae stage će ovaj put krasiti i redovna bina na kojoj će se preko dana održavati koncerti...

Radionici produkcije zvuka
Radionica je namenjena ljudima sa prethodnim iskustvom, ali i onima koji žele da nauče nešto novo. Moderatori ovih predavanja bice Vladan Lilić ADVL sound & light (inženjer zvuka, “tonac” Van Gogh-a 7 godina) i Nikola Vranjković studio Berar (“tonac” Bajaga, Darkwood dub, Darko Rundek, Masimo Savić, Eyesburn, E-Play….). Predavanja će nakon prvog dana upoznavanja, otići u pravcu interesovanja i iskustva učesnika i nadogradjivanju istog.

Prvi Anarcho Punk festival u Sarajevu

Lokacija je Kino Bosna, eX Kino 1. Maj - Sarajevo
Grupa pojedinaca/ki je za ovaj period za sve nas pripremila nekoliko situacija koje bi nas sve trebale barem dobro zabaviti, pa vas pozivamo da dodjete da skupa blejimo i rokamo kako vjera anarhistička nalaže. Sva tri dana festivala imat ćemo priliku uživati u projekcijama filmova sa anarhističkom i pank tematikom, slušaonama koje će za nas sve pripremiti dobri Dj Gabudo, te izložbama koje će nas zapitati u kojem svijetu živimo i Žasto je to tako.
Sva tri dana u prostorijama Kina Bosna bit će postavljena i distribucija materijala svih vrsta (knjige, fanzini, linux distribucija, bedževi, majice i ostale zeze) koje će sa sobom donijeti dragi/e prijatelji i prijateljice iz Freedom Fight-a, AnFeme, Sto čitaš?, KomiKaza i drugih kolektiva.
Ovim mejlom vas sve toplo pozivamo da se pridružite veseloj raji kojoj granice i nacije nisu bitne i koja na jedan kreativan način želi pokazati da je drugačiji svijet moguć!

The Youth Association creACTive from Skopje, Macedonia (www.cre-act-ive.org) is preparing 3 projects for the 1st of February deadline.
2. Youth Exchange for Young Musicians
Project Name: "The strings of our traditions"
This youth exchange is aimed at exploring intercultural learning through music. It tends to give an opportunity to young musicians to experience an intercultural environment and to get involved in a process of non-formal education – with music as the main theme. Music will be used
as a common medium that connects all of the participants, and also as an appropriate technique for exploring the culture and traditions of the other countries.
Target group:
Young rock musicians aged 15 to 25. Preferably, they should be a music band that already works together, containing 4 to 5 members. The participants are expected to have some experience in performing, since they will need to prepare a couple of songs and perform them at three concerts.
Dates and Venue:
Kavadarci, Macedonia; second half of August, 2008.
Activities:
The activity program will consist of two main elements: workshops of non-formal education and music workshops. The non-formal education workshops will be on subjects such as prejudices and stereotypes, intercultural learning, active citizenship and others, while during the music workshops the participants will be exploring the traditional music from the other countries. They will be preparing together for the concerts, and will also try to create rock versions of old traditional songs from each of the countries. As a preparation before the project, the participants should have 2-3 songs already ready for performing; and should also bring with them a couple of traditional songs, which will serve as a material for the workshops. The final events of the project will be 3 rock concerts taking place in different cities.
Partners: The project will involve 4 project partners, two from South-East Europe and two from Programme countries (European Union + EFTA + Turkey).
